WisdomTree Total Dividend ETF (DTD)

The WisdomTree Total Dividend ETF (DTD) started trading in mid June 2006. It tracks the WisdomTree Dividend Index, minus expenses and fees. The ETF's approach to tracking the index is dividend weighted and measures the performance of dividend paying US stocks. The Total Dividend ETF owns around 64% of the index's 1381 components.

The ETF is passively managed, with an expense ratio of 0.28%. The fund rebalances annually in December.

Although this is subject to change, it pays dividends on a quarterly basis, in March, June, September, and December. The dividend is irregular, and past distributions have ranged from $0.3982 a share to $0.47921 a share. Distributions may include short term as well as long term capital gains in addition to ordinary income.
